My first time visiting Setia city mall to meet my good friend, I bring along my son four months old to meet him too. Since I am not sure what is an excellent place to eat at Setia City mall, well think I saw Mr. Dakgalbi as they do have some eye-catching sign. I had been heard about this place, so I decided to give it a try.

The interior of Mr Dakgalbi is somewhat useful to see. We seat at somewhere nearby corridor place. So we can see many people passing by our table. The waiters were also running here and there during this lunch hour. I saw in some blog post pictures about the cheese ring, and I believe this might be the place.

We sat down and ordered the fried rice set for two. It looks good, and it comes with some side dishes and extra cheese. I saw we could addons a cheese ring, but it is expensive for lunch for two, so we decide not to. Well, I can try next time where we come with more people.

When the food comes, we do not cook our own, as the waiters from Mr Dakgalbi will cook for you and there is a way to cook. First, prepare the chicken, then after that put rice until it about to cook then only they put cheese on top. When rice cooked, then only they cook the ramen.

Taste-wise, you can expect it is spicy and filling. I like the texture of rice. It goes well with the chicken. I believe they are using Korean rice, as it is almost like Japanese rice, rather short and round.

The conclusion from Mr Dakgalbi

This place is worth to mention, especially when you are a fan of Korean food. You can expect something spicy from Mr. Dakgalbi.
