Introducing Epic Seafood Restaurant at Sekinchan Bagan Restaurant Now

I like Sekinchan (find my previous post about Heong Kee Bak Kut Teh and also Leisure Tea House), and this time I would like to share my experience having one of the recommended seafood restaurants. Restaurant Bagan Sekinchan has built up their name in the past three years, and they are getting well known from their freshness of the ingredient and delicious seafood restaurant. It is no wonder that to dine in this place, you need a reservation or come way early before lunchtime to secure a table or area for you to enjoy their cooking.

My wife and me love fresh seafood and dining in this place is the wisest decision that we have ever made, even we come early to ensure that we have place to dine, also when we sit into table, I can see people keep coming to this restaurant and willing to wait for quite some time until they got their table.

The Dishes

This is the first dish that arrived on our table. Cooked with ginger and soy sauce, with the right amount of rice wine plus garlic, it creates a unique taste in the mouth and even we clean up the soup as it is good with rice. I like this dish as the amount of saltiness just lovely, and of course, the Lala freshness contributes a lot.

Our second dish, fish ball soup. What outstanding of the fishball is the fresh ingredient, the texture of the fishball superb? I think it can rebound if I throw it into the table (one of the ways to test the fishball texture). Just the soup is slightly salty, besides that the onion leaf makes this soup great.

Squid

I love this squid, to me, this is the best dish that I ate in the restaurant. The way h0w they bring out the sweetness of red onion shows how good their cooking skills. The most westerner might find it quite weird to eat this dish as it is like a chewing rubber band, but trust me this dish absolutely must try.

I think my hand was shaking when I take the picture above. It looks like just a regular egg, but it is small prawn cooked with egg with chili. The spiciness is just lovely, without covering the full taste of the dish, and the prawn still maintains its sweetness. Bravo for the chef in the background preparing this dish.

The conclusion at Restaurant Bagan Sekinchan

Overall this place worth one star, the freshness of the ingredients is top-notch, and they taste good I am about to give this restaurant two stars. The only drawback is that prawn and also fishball noodle can be better. Absolutely will come to this place again when I am visiting Sekinchan, and absolutely will add crab dish in the future.
